Good lord, all that time to sort ourselves out off the back of the maul and that's what we produce?

LOLZ the English forwards will be absolutely stewing about that
It was so much easier to blame Them. It was bleakly depressing to think They were Us. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

What was Mitchell doing? A Ben Youngs style crab and then just panicked and threw it to no one. Nearly cost us a try.

Very upright tackle from Earl there. Hope the TMO doesn't look at that one.

Think the Japanese guy has saved him by trying to side step and making it shoulder to shoulder.

Ref just impressing more and more. Excellent call on changing his mind on the scrum penalty.

They've just shown another angle of the Early hit and I think he's an inch away from a very awkward decision needing to be made.

He's a good albeit strict (maybe card happy) ref. Resetting the scrum was good call. Not sure how onside Japan were at that reset scrum mind.

My thoughts exactly. Very, very close, and utterly avoidable by just getting the technique right.

Hilarious that the bookies had this as a 22pt game.

Lawes very upright and getting shoved backwards. You'd have though the players would have wised up by now.

Not exactly beautiful or creative, but a good show of our current virtues - good kick-off, beautifully placed touch kick, pressure on the lineout, forcing the mistake.
