Ireland v Red Roses
England lead by a try after five minutes. Ireland not had a chance to play at all.

All looks a bit stuttery and disjointed in the backs for England at the minute

Yes, they'd want to make more of this level of dominance.

0-27 after 37 minutes. England kicking has been largely pitiful.
Big concern with Marlie Packer being helped off though

I presume you mean Ireland being pitiful.

They're just not playing the same game as England. Could get very embarrassing.

Well done for spotting the deliberate mistake.
The stars came up there. Ireland apparently made 95 tackles to England's 10. Bloodbath.

Nice of Ireland to kick away their only consistent bit of possession.
Aitcheson is fine in this game but I am unconvinced she has the composure and consistency. It's a bit like Mike Catt's flyhalf days.

Some of the stuff England are trying is so silly. I'd be unimpressed if I was the coaching team.

Incredibly scrappy stuff. Like an AI against a tier 3 side with a scratch team.

Wow, almost like a negative amount of thought went into that offload.

They've shackled Dow really well today, to be fair.

0-48. Weird to be dissatisfied with that but I expect they are.

Caught the first half and a few snippets of the 2nd half. England very casual and sloppy at times, displaying little patience or poise.

England are hosting Canada at Exeter this Saturday. It will be shown on the RFU YouTube channel.
RFU apparently offered the rights to the game for free to BBC & ITV, both declined.
Wales couldn't find a broadcaster for their game against USA either, didn't reach an agreement with S4C.

Was bound to be a tough sell during the World Cup and free doesn’t really mean free, unless the RFU were willing to cover costs.

Mells is right on it being a tough sell. It's a ridiculous time to be holding a women's international - this could've been another decent attendance and good money-maker for the women's game if they'd held it in November, but to try and go against the RWC is utterly bananas.

I guess the problem is 'free rights' doesn't mean no cost to the TV companies.
