Which, is Reid not considered first choice? Always seems to be one of Bath's best performers when I see them play.

Tigers continuing to rotate through all the senior players available for the game Vs Ampthill. Mainly back up and development players for this one. Good to see Dolly back fit and getting back to match fitness, Ilione has played quite a bit of pre season/PRC so far so could be in for more game time this season.

15 Jamie Shillcock [2]
14 Harry Simmons [34]
13 Phil Cokanasiga [7]
12 Joseph Woodward [6]

The visitors are Ampthill who have a couple I recognise formerly of Prem sides along with Bracken on loan from Sarries.

That's great to see. Green starting and both Joseph and Launch in the squad. Looking forward to next season, should be a good one.

He's good, but he's not guaranteed a bench place.
Starting backrow is most likely Hill, Underhill, Barbeary.
Bayliss, Reid, Cloete and Coetzee fighting for the 20 shirt - or, with JvG, the 20 & 23 shirts :(

Backrow is Bath's strong point - and 9-13 once Finn arrives

We're all just really excited for it.

As EP says Ampthill look to have recruited some of the development/younger squad guys from the failing sides. The 10 was highly rated in the Welsh Uni system. Going to be interesting to see what kind of challenge they bring to Welford Road.

Going to be in attendance for this one. Looking forward to it.

Yeah, hell of a finish. I think he'll thrive at Quins. They'll need a bit more of those skills in the second half. Looked quite a strong Quins team, didn't expect to turn on to find them 22-0 down.

It was a nice finish by Joseph. Game went a bit flat after h/t. Glos good up front and worth the win. A few stylish touches from Atkinson stood out for me.

Seb Atkinson just looks assured and classy everytime I see him play. With Marchant off to France and Manu not getting any younger there should be spots in the England squad up for grabs in the 6N. Not sure Slippery Barnacles is quite brave enough to go with the inexperienced but high potential of Kelly, Atkinson, Joseph and Lawrence as the centres but we can hope. Joseph's ability to slot on to the wing if required is quite handy as well.

Just caught up with the Glaws game and jeez Atkinson just looks so good. Decision making, execution, passing. He’s got international written all over him! And that was his first game of the season!

Amazing what game time does for young players!

Atkinson classy? Who would have thought. Was always my wildcard to make the pre WC training squad, very disappointed SB didn’t look at him - or see if Waldouck was available as attack coach.
