Argentina v Samoa (Fri/Sat)

Post by Lizard »

An intriguing match-up. England probably have Pool D sewn up, but 2nd place is wide open. I think that discipline and game-planning will win this one, but it's anyone's guess as to who will have the edge. I think you have to hand the Pumas the favourites tag, but it should be a cracker.

I'm quite intrigued by this one. Argentina should be a much better side but if they turn up in the same disorganized mess that they did against England then an upset is possible.

Samoa have been a fairly impressive mess themselves, which is quite an achievement with Leali’ifano and Sopoaga running the show.

Samoa just were too big and strong for Chile but they're.not going to be able to go through the Argies in the same way.

This match may well be the most physically intense of the tournament so far with some collisions registering high on the Richter scale. I’ll go with Argentina, by ten points.

I’m in the West Island, surrounded by criminals, for the weekend so this game is on at an almost watchable time. I might set an alarm.

Amusing how close he came to butchering that by tripping over his own feet

Being let down by Leali'ifano at the moment.

So far in this RWC there has been quite a lot of bad weather, with hammering rain lowering the standard of play. A great leveler for the smaller teams.

I think it's fair to say that that was not an RWC classic.
