Re: Australia
The difference so far has been the quality of the tactical kicking. Australia have been pinned tight back inside their 22 on occasions, and still pulled out a box-kick that gets them touch close to halfway, whereas you're kicking infield and hoping Kellaway/Nawaqitawase don't do too much damage.
Good start though - you'd've taken being 10-6 up after 22m if you'd been offered it before the game.

That is *cocky* from Australia. Hope you shove it down their throats.
Hahaha, and you have! Fantastic.

Should've been 10-9. Now going to be 13-6. Bizarre decision from Australia not to kick for goal.

Eddie is cloning a rugby league team from a union team. What has he done?

Fairly clear that we don’t want to play outside of their 22. Makes me nervous watching those Aussie runners being gifted ball

Trusting your defence is working out well enough so far, but I'm not sure it's a gamble that I'd be willing to make. They've got too many quality runners for that to keep breaking your way.Sandydragon wrote: ↑Sun Sep 24, 2023 8:41 pm Fairly clear that we don’t want to play outside of their 22. Re: Australia
Shame not to get that one on halftime. Poor decision-making to drive for the line - needed to accept the tackle and recycle - it was a try on the next phase.

Re: Australia
A ten point cushion at half time is good but we need to kick on in the next quarter. Keep our feet on their necks.

Re: Australia
I really hope that miss doesn't kill us. We don't create enough to afford those.
That said, pretty decent half from us. Going to need a lot more than a 10 point cushion, though. Score again quickly and we might be okay. Might be.

The first ten minutes next are crucial.Australia will come out all guns firing. Weather that and we can turn the screw again.

Hard to see Aus coming back. Great stuff from Wales. Keep kicking Eddie Jones right in the dick.

Great camera angle in that replay. No idea if that was forward or not
