Some are pretty clear cut like Marler, Cole, Vunipola, Youngs, Tuilagi and May. The really interesting calls are going to be around George, Lawes, Malins and Ford/Farrell. Take a brave coach to ditch Farrell. Is SB one?
Move Malins to 10, he's only 26 and its where imo he has looked best, albeit a while ago.

I actually do think Arundell's style may be better suited to dashing about from the wing.

That was discussed earlier, but Racing seem a bit stacked in midfield.

The Times reckon Burt could be planning on playing Arundell at 13 when he goes to Racing: https://archive.ph/HrsWa

We came to the conclusion that it was likely throwaway bullshit in an article about something else.

Watching Quins Glos yesterday, and both Dombrandt and Mercer were very good. Northmore was excellent, too, and he's definitely worth a look, imo: he's added a yard of pace, it seems.

Also, Nick David was good, too, but I think he's probably a long way down the pecking order, rightly so.

On those thoughts, I'd look toward this:

Genge, Rodd, Baxter
Dan, Blamire, Riley
Sinckler, Stuart, Heyes
Itoje, Chessum, Martin, Coles, Tizard
THill, TCurry, BCurry, TWillis, Mercer, Earl
JvP, Quirke, Mitchell
MSmith, Ford, FSmith
Kelly, Northmore, Laurence, Atkinson
Murley, Freeman, Steward, Lynagh, Watson

Arundell, JWillis, and Marchant offered ways back in if/when they return to England.

Ignoring the over 30 rule, here’s what I’d pick for the 6N (form permitting of course):

1. Genge / Obano / Rodd
2. George / Dan / Walker
3. Sinckler / Stuart / Schickerling
4. Itoje / Martin
5. Chessum / Isiekwe
6. T. Curry / Ludlam
7. Earl / Pearson
8. T. Willis / Mercer
9. Mitchell / van Poortvliet / Quirke
10. M. Smith / Ford / F. Smith
11. Murley / Hassell-Collins
12. Kelly / Atkinson
13. Lawrence / Slade
14. Freeman
15. Steward / Arundell

I believe Arundell is still available for selection. If not, I’d swap in Radwan with Freeman providing cover for 15. I’d have Marchant in ahead of Slade if he is available. Jack Willis vs. Ludlam is a harder call IMO.

I’d keep George in and bring back Slade to avoid us being exceptionally green at hooker and in the centres.
