The mods on this forum seem fairly tolerant to me. Planet Rugby's would have to be the worst, they're a bunch of right-wingers who have even invaded and wrecked other forums - such as the one the IRB/World Rugby used to operate on their own web site. There was some very nasty stuff on there during the invasion of Iraq, which the mods aggressively supported. The tier 2 and 3 forum is also blighted by right wing mods, vehemently supportive of America and Israel. Shame, because it's an interesting forum if you stick to the rugby. The worst forum I've ever seen was NZ's Silver Fern - basically just a playground for the mods themselves, who appear to be about 12-years-old on average, completely full of themselves - and insanely bored. What I have encountered right across the spectrum is hostile opposition to the quotas system in South Africa, and also that country's now ill-fated (apparently) bid to host the 2023 World Cup. Nigh impossible to discuss those two issues without all hell breaking loose.

I agree with this, much better than before, most of the nutters seem to have moved elsewhere. Long time back there were plenty of times Sandy and I had very different views, often poles apart, he was never ever offensive, nor was I. All a matter of having a bit of respect for, if nothing else, the board and those who provide it.

Offended, no. Mostly I'd ignore his posts though, reading the odd one or two for amusement was fine, but there were just too many posts screaming into the wind to bother with all of them.
