he should have been better placed to catch it first time.
That was my point.

Classic fkas.
I typed the it's not a knock on bit before Berry changed his mind. Didn't absolve Youngs from being badly placed.

Nice kick from Arundell for the Smith grubber as well. Perhaps he's warmed up after touching the ball. Now Ford's on perhaps we can pass him the ball.

And I agreed. I merely moaned about the ref first.

Will Lawrence come on Farrell or Marchant....? I guess Smith is an outside shot (with Marchant moving to the wing)

FFS Danny Care.. KAGAB albeit it with a free hit (but 3 playmakers on the pitch)

And Arundell is off. Poor sod didn't even get a pass. Didn't create anything for himself but ridiculous we've not put the ball in his hand so he could have a crack. Surely the kind of player you want on as the opposition tire as well.

Smith outside him ready to run a play with options inside and out as well. Give him the ball.

Ford
Marchant
Farrell
Lawrence
Steward
Smith

Arundell and Wade in the same back three. That'll be fun to watch.

KADAB I believe.

Wanted to attach a screenshot from BBC text but apparently attachment limit has been reached. It reads:

57 mins
Farrell, Smith & Ford all on the pitch
Argentina 20-23 England

Owen Farrell of England looks on as teammate George Ford gives the team instructions
Getty ImagesCopyright: Getty Images
England now have three playmakers on the pitch, expect plenty of creativity.

Here come England on the attack but Owen Farrell kicks it away

I think you'e right about KADAB

That BBC update is so perfect for most of the last 4 years - just substitute Daly as 3rd playmaker for Smith. Same old, same old.

Love how Owen Farrell just bit in and then stood there and let the Pumas run round him.

Good last ditch defence by Ford. We looked good for about 20 minutes at the start and seem to have gone down hill all game.

EDIT - there is something apt about Farrell complaining that someone used arms in a tackle

Having watched that, I’m so gutted Steward didn’t kick deeper last week. NZ v Eng would suit me.
