No Joseph is the interesting one. Good to see Cleaves, he could have an impact this season. It's the final ushering out of the old guard for Quins, too, with only Marler and Care left around. Dombrandt is the only starter with more than 100 Quins appearances.

I really hope Anyanwu can find his feet. Obviously Andre was a rock but it’s a worry we’ve not been able to get anything out of LA, Bryn Bradley or Hayden Hyde so far and mainly resorted to sticking Northmore at 12z

Also interesting Dombrandt is captain with Lewies in the starting team. I don’t remember seeing an announcement he’d become official club captain.

That's a pretty tough looking Sale side - you have to think they'll be up there this season

Fair shout. They’ve been too 4 ish the last 3 or 4 seasons, no?

Not sure about that second row or if they’re just missing players. Potentially a very porous midfield in defence but that does look like a team that can play in a few different (and effective) ways.

Looks like Quins have gone for their most physical centre combination which makes sense against Sale.

He became captain last season, no? Or even the year before?

You’d think so given how rarely Lewies took the field, but as far as I know he was only ever deputising.

Yep. Confirmed here if you’re interested. https://www.quins.co.uk/article/alex-do ... the%20role.

Pissing with rain. Could be interesting. I would presume Sale are still happier with that than we are.

Tom Curry passes the HIA and then absolutely pastes Lennox Anyanwu. Folded him up like a Christmas Card.

Oof. What a slog that was.

Sale deserved winners I'd say. Very few moments of incision from Quins and not quite accurate enough with most of them.

Not much to get excited about. First game in the wet. I guess we can cut the teams a bit of slack but that wasnt exactly entertaining.

Not a great look for the game. Can't see how he was allowed to continue after this:

I was amazed Kata wasn't sent for a HIA and that Chessum was allowed back on the pitch after passing his as well.
