Re: Time to sack Gatland?
I can stomach the losses in the autumn especially since the team is young. This is the right time to see if players can cut it at this level.
The hard to understand things are like bringing on the wrong sub, defensive liabilities, being totally overpowered. These Gatland should accept responsibility for. I wonder about the assistant coaches and if this is where the problem lies
If there is a goal to move towards joined up thinking and a common approach by the national side, regions and clubs, I am all for it. But how long have we had these issues and no solution yet. Hard to do with individually owned clubs now. Hard to see how reducing the number of professional clubs helps with the talent coming through.
Somehow more money has to be made available, even if it is central contracts with players fairly loaned to the regions. The 25 cap rule (or whatever it is now) should be abolished if there is not a strong production line of talent coming from the regions
I would love a B&I league, let the Italians go with the French or Europeans and South Africans can develop their own African league. But we are not competitive in the URC so the league doesn't matter, we would struggle to be competitive anywhere

Re: Time to sack Gatland?
People moan about not being on the greatest of league, but a large chunk of the Welsh squad plays in England. Did they look better than the Welsh based players- I’d say no.
Did the ospreys look overpowered when they beat South African teams- no.
The turgid attack is nothing new but our deeensive woes are a real problem. We’re too easy to score against. Is it structural, fitness or are the players not up to it? But the South African player shot over the gainline every time. That can’t just be a player size thing.
