It's ridiculous with Douglas isn't it. Sure, take it slowly and play him from the benchbut at least give him 20/25 minutes not 10/15, especially when you are comfortable, and even more sonwhen he's making a positive impact each time.

See Jack Brown got his debut, for 2 minutes.

The usual 2nd half malaise gave Lions a wee sniff but Price’s try settled the nerves. Douglas got about 10 minutes at the end and almost immediately won a penalty. Everitt needs to give him a start.

Given the choice of Bayonne or Bulls in the quarter I think I’d prefer Bayonne.
Vellacott was the one with white line fever. And the captain who cannot see beyond 1m from close in pick and goes, again

For DVDM the question is, which tour? Given the injury he might not make the Lions tour. If he doesn’t but he’s fit I’d give him a rest from the Scotland tour.
He's a Lion.

Douglas should be starting. Especially as Ritchie is playing very well on the other flank it's as low risk an introduction as we could want.

Dylan Richardson signs for Edinburgh from next season on a 2 year deal. That’s good for both Edinburgh and Scotland.

Is Cherry already confirmed as off?

Cherry hasn’t been offered a contract extension so he’ll be off at the end of this season. I don’t think anything has been confirmed about where he’s heading.
