Looks a decent squad.

Back row not looking anywhere near as strong as prior years (have we finally stopped mass producing flankers?) and the options at fly half are sub par. I think this year we’re unlikely to dominate enough up front to make up for the lack of quality at 10.

Great to see mcparland in and the outside back options look deep.

Williams the flanker/number 8 at Tigers had gotten a few team of the week elections for Nottingham before his injury in December.

And after some digging I think Davies has another year at this level, which means next season we get him and Linegar, which will make a refreshing change!

He looks a good one mate. There’s him and Shields in that age group who both look very handy. Talbot arguably the more advanced of the two at the moment.

Partly desperation on my part that we'll develop a 10 as we can't seem to sign one.

Threlfall always looked decent. Played a bit of England U18s. Probably didn’t get as much recognition as he deserved. Seems to have kicked on at Notts by all accounts.

Ta. The little bit I saw it Threlfall in the PRC he looked like he had a bit about him. Talbot looked pretty assured from what I saw of him at age grade.

Threlfall is only just turned 19 and Talbot's younger still so got some time but a breakout season pushing into the first team would be very timely at the moment.
