Tomos

Post by UKHamlet »

Tomos Williams is out of the Lions' tour with a pulled hamstring. It's a shame because he looked like a certainty to get some game time. Perhaps he's not quite Gibson-Park's level, but he's not far off, and is probably the more instinctive of the two.

Real shame for him... is he young enough to go again in 4 years? Just finished a chapter on Rob Howleys exit from the 97 tour by coincidence, at least he got another shot at a test jersey.
It was so much easier to blame Them. It was bleakly depressing to think They were Us. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Real shame. He was certainly going to contest for the 9 shirt.

Even less reason to watch the Lions now.

Gutted for him, he took his opportunities to date well and had a real chance of being in the test squad, even if off the bench.

Hopefully Morgan can impress tomorrow in what looks like a more balanced back row.
