He’s the worst of the top tier refs, isn’t he. Just awful.

All about the Scots so far, though.
Very specific role; suspect empty tank til 50 mins or so
Seems an old school role so far. Fly up and hit the first receiver, even if a bit late.

Beirne with two turnovers. Logic to having him if not playing Morgan.

Freeman a good player, but he does love a pointless chip.

Haha. Opinions eh? I think he's one of my favourite.

Pretty good first half, bar a few individual mistakes.

Aus haven't offered much except at the breakdown, which is as expected

Bizarre ref decisions, I just don't understand him at all
It was so much easier to blame Them. It was bleakly depressing to think They were Us. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Freeman has had one chip from a daft blindside move by jgp.
Look dangerous ball in hand, but a bit sloppy generally tbh.
On Curry just playing very differently to a Morgan say

Cripes. So inconsistent at every area of the game. Breakdown is a joke.

Freeman has been pretty good I think. One poor kick but carried well
Two out of the full no? Didn't hurt as lions got one of the lineouts but he's gotta go some to make up for that

The other one was a bad decision from JGP that stitched him up. He’s carried very well, esp early.
Lots of sloppy play tbh, Lowe and Russell have both butchered tries.

Looking forward to his tv series where he drives across Coventry in an old Morris Minor.

I'd should point out that, myself, have no experience of skips, or of alleys behind any kind of strip bar.

Lions should really have more points on the board. Some sloppy play by wings at crucial moments.
Captain Itoje does look a bit under powered in both the carry and tackle.
Like many others here I find this ref frustrating in his consistency.

Yeah, on the chips it was probably harsh based on that one as not many options, but it seems his default if short on space.

Anyway, generally think they've been pretty good. Think the ball's a bit slippy but any time they have spread it, they have found space. Russell just picking good options and executing
(didn't see him butchering a try). Both centres having good games too, though Jones will be disappointed not to have scored.

Sheehan is also great. Would give anything to have a hooker like him for Scotland.

I think Itoje has not been at his best today, seems tired?

McCarthy scores easily if Finn puts a half decent chip to him. Butchering for me.

All the front row have been excellent tho Fck knows what the ref is seeing at the scrum.

I think captain itoje has been fine all round tbh.

Have to say Curry and Beirne been terrific. In fact the pack as a whole

Great try, thought they butchered it when Freeman ran a crap support line but they came good

5 - 24, 43 mins.
Try Sheehan in corner.
Curry 2 big inputs in build up,
JGP in rolls-royce mode.
