Got a bit of a thumping, lost 69-24. Hopefully the experience gained will be useful despite the poor results.

Does Tamani always play wing? Reckon he'd be a useful centre.

Why are the English always so eager to convert any big back3 players we have, to centre, just because they're big?

Yes, he always plays wing, not he doesn't have the hands, or the agility, to play centre. At this point, I'm not sure he's got the brains either.
What he is, is a really good and promising winger.

He didn't strike me as a particularly big lad when I saw him play, was good in contact though.

I mean, if anything, it's the opposite. We seem to have (or had) a real problem developing big/physical centres.

We have a problem developing big and physical centres that aren't very skill limited. When we do we still seem to have issues bringing them through, see Dan Kelly.

I'd also add that being big and mobile whilst being able to play both centre and wing is very useful.
