Think Bris will be in with a shout until the benches come on. Quite a difference in the quality there...

Yeah, the Bath bench is mightily impressive.

Looks like the kind of game where both sides get a TBP.

Isn't that just assumed to be the case when Bristol are playing?

Sort of fair. Depends whether the other side can orchestrate a reasonable attack or not.

At a guess, end to end game for 50 mins to and hour and then Bath pull away through their bench.

We are really pissing off the ref today.

Spencer is really taking the Farrell approach to captaincy this season.

I was just about to say that consistency would make that a penalty restart

Bit late to this one. Bath's extra physicality up front, especially with the bench and Russell at 10 are making the difference.

That being said, every rolling maul for Bath seems to come from the lifter coming down and being protected by the two lifters. On another day there's a few penalties to Bristol there.

Fun game.

Bath just too strong. Had the edge at scrum and maul and put Bristol under a lot of pressure. Lawrence did a lot right and i thought Pepper looked tremendous. In a losing cause, Harding put in a monumental shift.
