Shameful.
It is usually futile to try to talk facts and analysis to people who are enjoying a sense of moral superiority in their ignorance.

I wonder if the weapons used were bought legally?

Didn't Dallas (or Texas) recently pass an open carry law?

If this, plus the other incidents of large scale massacres, plus the attitude of certain police officers towards how they police their communities doesn't highlight the problem the US has with guns (legal or otherwise) then nothing will.

The incident in Dallas is disgusting, so too the excessive use of force examples against Americans who aren't white.

I think that when somebody kills any person with a gun , the legality of the purchase is way down low on their list of concerns .

If they're good enough to play at World Cups, why not in between?

Is there a video out there that's not edited?

'tis likely the police have escalated more than they need to, but they're going to be somewhat on edge looking to make an arrest, and if the police are asking for your name and some ID then for just bloody well answer the question, don't swear at them and attempt to shove them away. at this point the police officers might be in a little trouble, whilst at the same time I've no sympathy for the idiot who was tasered

Aye. It also seems quite common in these incidents that people are all over the police for thinking that somebody looks like somebody else, which inevitably makes them racist if the suspect is anything other than white.

At least this judge got it right:
