I can't believe we haven't at least spoken in training about Charteris.

That is lovely. Great pass by Russell, nice by Hogg and easy for Visser.
Nice to see Visser stand up North too.

Its ok, Stan has found his script and brought Roberts and Faletau on at 60 so weve thrown in the towel

Re: Scotland v Wales
Unbelievable.
Russell, Hogg and Visser did so well.
I'm delighted for Visser and should probably retract my earlier statement... he certainly has a nose for the try line. Excellent job of running it in closer to the posts as well.
Conversion is good as a result.
We MUST keep this pressure up.

Not sure where Scotland would be without Hogg. He is class. Has to be the lions fullback surely.Big D wrote:That is lovely. Great pass by Russell, nice by Hogg and easy for Visser.

As much as I hate the moaning Webb is a hell of a player. Henry should have spotted him.

I hope so. He's been a lot more solid under the high ball today too. Been a really good overall performance by him.canta_brian wrote:Not sure where Scotland would be without Hogg. He is class. That hold & pop set up both the tries. Lovely little draw & grubber almost saw Jones over the line as well. He's hard to fault in attack.canta_brian wrote:Not sure where Scotland would be without Hogg. He is class. Has to be the lions fullback surely.Big D wrote:That is lovely. This second half has been miles better. Much more energy and precision at times.

Russell has been practicing! Superb kick. I thought it was an odd decision - what do I know?!

He's solid enough in defense.hugh_woatmeigh wrote:That hold & pop set up both the tries. Lovely little draw & grubber almost saw Jones over the line as well. You can teach any mug to be solid in defense. I will happily accept the odd little defensive error for the kind of x factor he offers your attack.

Not the time or place as we are playing well and Hogg has been on fire but I do not rate his defence at all. Fortunately it's been good today and hasn't been exposed too much.canta_brian wrote:He's solid enough in defense.hugh_woatmeigh wrote:That hold & pop set up both the tries. Takes a minute+ off the clock and takes us past two converted tries.hugh_woatmeigh wrote:Russell has been practicing! Superb kick. I thought it was an odd decision - what do I know?!

Brilliant turnover!
Watson has been superb and made two VITAL turnovers. I stand by my claim he is one of the best players in Britain right now. Inexplicable that he was dropped.

Why does Gatland look so sad? Some superb Lions on show today.
It couldn't be that he's one eyed....?

20-0 in that second half. Some players really stood up. Who'd have thought Visser would be miles better than North?
