Prediction for tonight? Halftime it'll be close, 13-9 to the Irish, end will be 36-12 to the irish after 2 fourth quater tries and a piss poor second half from Wales. Wales won't score a try.
I have a sneaky feeling we might scrape this one.

I hope you're correct but the Irish love nothing more than humiliating us and Gatland.

I think Ireland by 2/3 scores to be honest - I just can't see us scoring enough tries to win the game or having the ability to close out a tight game.

It will take a legendary defiance of the possession stats for us to hold them off for 80 minutes. Far more likely we'll crack and they'll score 3/4 tries to our 0/1. Clear victory to the Irish I think.

Two score win for the Irish. We will huff and puff but will struggle to convert opportunities.

I admire your optimism that we'll score that many!

Our scoreline isn't divisible by 3. That makes you an optimist.

Best comment on here, wish I could rep...
Aw, shucks... :-)

I don't think I'll ever be able to actively want my team to lose. But I do accept that no long-term good can come of a Welsh win tonight; it will just vindicate the craven attitude of the coaches and hold us back for another year.

Probably just as well it won't come to that, then.

Liam gets another one. Leigh kicks 5/6. Pretty much par at home, I'd say.

Agree. I think too many are writing off Wales for this one. They are a physical side playing at home and will be hard to beat, even if they are not playing pretty rugby. They had the game won against England and threw it away and will be in a suitably pissed off frame of mind for this one.

Its ages since I posted here. I keep signing in, reading posts that I mainly agree with, but feeling there is nothing worthwhile I could say.

To select exactly the same team again! Unbelievable. Yes, we will have good players on the pitch, the same good players who lost to Scotland. The Scots played well. They were precise at key moments, something we could not manage.

Most likely we will lose tonight, to an Irish side that plays more attractive rugby. If we do win, what will we have learned? I despair.

Perhaps it is a cunning plan to get us into a group of death for the WC? Its more entertaining.....

Frankly I find it hard to be outraged when we score tries. Stop it. I was enjoying moaning.

Well that is a lot better. Huge commitment and we seem to have players positioning themselves to support an attack rather than wait for the ruck. Interceptions a concern, so too our poor aerial ability.

We need to keep th intensity up, but I feel that we also need to play more heads up rugby, and I don't mean just throw the ball a round, sometimes a short kick would work better.

If Ireland are still within 2 when Sexton comes back on we might be in trouble.

Have to be fair and say that's a pretty decent 40 from Wales. But I do still still feel we're only just hanging on.

Biggar is not a flat 10. I understood the thinking in picking him but why make him play Sam Davies' game? It's bizarre.

Not sure what happened to our air game either. Getting mullered in the sky is a new annoyance.

But yes, we're trying things, and we're up for it. Let's see if we can get more than 3 this second half, eh, lads?

Do worry that Wales don't have much more to offer & that if Ireland up there game they will either edge or run away with it

"Just went the wrong way one too many times."

How is it that Davies gets employed year after year to do this?

Perhaps the Beeb have a numbers issue?
