I was thinking that. If they have money to spend they need to be spending it on getting the support staff right too. There are big weaknesses in the squad but right now they just look demoralised and listless

Do Edinburgh actually employ a defense coach? I reckon that more than half of our problems come because we have no structure, physicality or aggression in defense. All four Scarlett's tries were gifts and there's no point in having a decent pack of forwards if they're constantly having to backtrack to get onside.

Attacking shape is woeful too. No imagination, no lines being run at an angle. Please let's drop Hodge and move on from the Solomon's era once and for all now.

Credit to Scarlets for actually being able to spin a pass out wide.

So apparently (according to the Embra forum) Bradbury has a torn meniscus and ACL damage. Nothing said whether is a strained ACL or fucked ACL.

Couple of other rumours.

Carmichael is away to Western Force to play a bit now and in the off season. Probably in the domestic league.

Callum Hunter-Hill is rumoured to be signing for Edinburgh too. That one, if true, makes sense in so much that he is an Edinburgh/Lothians boy.

Nae good, sit him down, no need to strain to get him back & give Carmichael some run at 6, he looks promising.

Edit, or never mind I could've read the next post. Still, I really like him as a player. If he can get some game down down under this summer, that'd be good.

Hunter-Hill would be a good addition, we could use a thumper at lock

He looks about half a stone too heavy, yes. I just don't think it's picked up on because every Edinburgh player is absolutely atrocious when they take to the pitch.

I'd say so, also not particularly subtle in saying he was overworked as a few Edinburgh players are.

LA Rochelle are quite a "new good team", it might not take much for them to lose their discipline, but I doubt it.

La Rochelle have a decent away record and are absolutely flying. This will be an absolute destruction. I am astounded the bookies only have LR as 4 point favourites. They haven't lost since Nov/Dec IIRC and have recently had some decent away wins.

The bookies also have Sarries as 13 point faves.

Could it not just be that the management are starting to realise he's not cut out for this level of rugby and that Tovey is a far better fly half?
