Deafening silence from Embra on status of Nel, Dickinson and Bradbury.

Any news?

And what has happened to Dangerous Dave Denton. Not on the unavailable due to injury list at Bath but can't even get a bench slot.

I'm afraid I don't have links but I do recall reading updates on Bradbury and Nel. Nel's surgery went well and was expected to make a full recovery. Bradbury had surgery (may have been meniscal?). I don't think either update came from Edinburgh so you are right, the silence is deafening and really poor PR imo.

The lack of Dicko news worries me. He'll be 34 when next season starts so I wonder if he has an eye on retirement if things are not going to plan?

Glasgow make a howler here and there but Edinburgh really could learn a thing or two form their PR/comms/social media team. Although it's entirely possible the SRU have a hand in the lack of official updates due to the importance of Nel & Dicko. It's certainly the polar opposite of an update every 10 seconds when they humoured Dunbar's ridiculous target of making the RWC.

I get the frustration, but there is very little benifit from releasing time schedules on return from injury and a fairly obvious downside. What exactly does anyone gain from this alleged better PR Greg? More time to shit on about it in the press and comments sections?

Yeah I have no issues on lack of timescales or injury news, even more so when we know their season is over.

Yeah. It makes things look really obvious/bad if you have good PR with injuries and then maintain radio silence when there's a potentially career ending injury.
