Fair to middling. Up our accuracy pace and decision making a notch and we'll do just fine. Play the way we have been and we might struggle a tad.
Gerald Davies, what was he doing there?!

Re: How's the nerves?
On a bit of a false bounce after that U20 result, but basically bricking it.
Think we'll need to be 20-30% better to stay in it, let alone win it. Long since given up hoping there might be a "secret plan". Just have to hope they make mistakes, and we don't. May take an Aspirin tonight.

Calm as you like. We're a better team than them, although we're not firing on all cylinders yet.
I have to say, I like the look of this England side. They're playing some good rugby. I do think we'll pose some problems for them though.
It'll be tough, but I expect us to edge it.

Re: How's the nerves?
What upsets me the most is their backs are playing nicer rugby than ours. Lets hope we can snuff that out!

It's great when it works, but it's so nerve-wracking to watch. Partly because getting 2+ scores ahead of the opposition has no part in The Plan.

I am so twitchy I have arranged a couple of hours work this morning to take my mind of it.

Ok at the moment but as we move closer to game time - jingle jangle! I can't see us winning this one tbh. Although I said that before the world cup match! Feel that was a squeaker and this England team will be ready for us this time. Two scores win by England I'm sorry to say.

Re: How's the nerves?
I have no nerves at the moment, but not in a good way. I've been thinking 8 point plus win for England since the end of the French game and I still feel that way. I'm just not buying this "we have the better side" stuff that people keep saying.
This season we seem more one dimensional than ever. I'm not sure if the coaching has become stale or that the game has moved on and we haven't but nothing about our performances so far has excited me, except our defence.
Gatland took 4 years to knock the old Wales into shape for the modern game and we have pretty much stood still since and are possibly just starting to go backwards. He seems to be more OCD about bulk than ever in his selections as well. There is no other explanation for Cuthbert's inclusion imho.
Hope I'm proved wrong (obviously) but I just don't see it happening unless it is yet another "smash and grab" which, let's be honest, sums up our previous 3 wins at Twickenham (2008, 2012, 2015)

As nervous as can be. I think home advantage is going to be the key, more's the pity.

Re: How's the nerves?
I am really gloomy now.
How will the undoubted pressure in the media affect Joubert; will he resort to random yellow and red cards? (I thought the young ref in the Irish game was OK. He allowed a bit of holding on after the tackle but was consistent with both sides.)

Wales are playing pretty shit, but one of the commentators is so biased it's nauseating.

Biggar has missed more tackles than Cuthbert.
