Absolutely heartbroken this morning. Cant believe someone has targeted kids at a concert. 22 dead so far, just unbelievable

It was so much easier to blame Them. It was bleakly depressing to think They were Us. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Speaks to what's being dealt with when you've got subhumans wanting to take a bomb to a concert where children are dancing and singing.

Truly appalling news.

Utter bastard.

My daughter is due to go to a concert in London soon...I'm not so keen on the idea now.

Was watching BBC News as the news was unfolding and I lost count of the number of times they looped the same piece of footage. It was just a few seconds long but they must've looped it up to 10 times each time they showed it. I appreciate that people may be tuning in at any moment so will want to find out as much information as possible but it just seemed ridiculous. They were still doing it on the Breakfast even though there were a choice of clips they could have played after eachother with minimal editing skills.

Islamic State, while claiming responsibility on its Telegram account, appeared to contradict British police's description of a suicide bomber. It suggested explosive devices were placed "in the midst of the gatherings of the Crusaders".

"What comes next will be more severe on the worshippers of the cross," the Telegram posting said.

That orange buffoon is unqualified to comment on this issue. The children of Yemen will no doubt be delighted at his brokering of a "great deal" made with the Saudis to provide billions in armaments with which to scorch the earth.

"losers". "they would think monsters a great term". Stay classy. Perhaps it would be better if he stuck to reading the prepared bits with his finger rather than attempt to inject reality TV vernacular.

Feels close now..
Armed cops pick up a bloke a few hundred yds. from current work locale, door gets blown in a few miles away, choppers overhead all day.
Door belonged to main suspect's gaff which had been occupied by 'unknowns' on a rotating basis for a while in a street where everyone knows one another...and a few shed fires along the way.The local cleaner has lost a 24 yr old mate apparently. The suspect's parents fled Gadaffi's Libya according to locals.
This sort of sh*t is festering everywhere -and the innocents cop for it as per.

Absolutely heartbreaking.

It would be helpful at this point for the peaceful muslim community to publicly publicly PUBLICLY denounce these actions by the radical fringe. It would help more people understand that muslims arent the boogieman. The longer they sit quietly, the more people are going to lump them all together as evil.
It is usually futile to try to talk facts and analysis to people who are enjoying a sense of moral superiority in their ignorance.

"evil losers" ....... yikes.

So the bomber has been named as a 22 year old Manchester native. How does someone born and raised in a place get to a point where they are ready to blow themselves and a bunch of people around them up by the age of 22?

Morrissey cuts to the chase.

https://www.facebook.com/Morrissey/
Celebrating my birthday in Manchester as news of the Manchester Arena bomb broke. The anger is monumental.

For what reason will this ever stop?

Theresa May says such attacks "will not break us", but her own life is lived in a bullet-proof bubble, and she evidently does not need to identify any young people today in Manchester morgues. Also, "will not break us" means that the tragedy will not break her, or her policies on immigration. The young people of Manchester are already broken - thanks all the same, Theresa. Sadiq Khan says "London is united with Manchester", but he does not condemn Islamic State - who have claimed responsibility for the bomb. The Queen receives absurd praise for her 'strong words' against the attack, yet she does not cancel today's garden party at Buckingham Palace - for which no criticism is allowed in the Britain of free press. Manchester mayor Andy Burnham says the attack is the work of an "extremist". An extreme what? An extreme rabbit?

In modern Britain everyone seems petrified to officially say what we all say in private. Politicians tell us they are unafraid, but they are never the victims. How easy to be unafraid when one is protected from the line of fire. The people have no such protections.

Great city Manchester. Really friendly people.

The provos detonated a bomb in Manchester City in the mid 90s, and there was Warrington. Now this.

Western bullets and MOABs deliver democracy and justice.

As utterly dreadful as the cowardly cunt was whose actions killed these innocent people, the irony in the responses from the government and media never fail to surprise.

These people are not attacking our freedom and democracy.

I agree with this, muslims should be very vocal in condemning this atrocity, if not, their silence could be taken for something else, they need to play a big role in rooting out these radical animals. I'm sure there is gossip in their communities, and they should be ready to inform on these nutters.

You fucking prick, after an attack like this all you can do is have a go at Trump, he is trying to stop this happening in America, with his temporary travel ban on refugees and travellers from certain muslim countries, but the likes of you are screaming from the rooftops to stop him doing that.
That mad bastard who killed those kids in Manchester was a son of refugees, there's the thanks we get for taking these people in, housing them, putting them to the front of the council housing queue, feeding them and giving them welfare.
