Thought Laidlaw nailed that conversion then.

Good work all round. Not sure if they planned that play from the lineout or the lineout didn't go quite as planned but they worked the ball well.

Are we finally showing the mental strength required to win a game like this?

Yes!

Well done Scotland.

Jackson was absolutely inept at scrum time.

I got the feeling he just wanted to see the odd scrum end with something other than a penalty.

Hard to argue with that. Far too many teams see scrums as nothing more than an opportunity to milk a penalty.

Disagree. Why continually let props collapse at will and other players cheat? Penalise, warn, card. He was just guessing with most decisions anyway.

Fucking yes. Not perfect but so much closer. Richie Gray back in to things has made a huge difference. Great for Dunbar to get through a full 80 and Hogg to more than make up for that early missed tackle.

Also credit to Horne, I was far from convinced with him having 75 minutes to play at 10.

Sco. hitting on an effective style of play..strength in depth in the backs.Confidence will grow too.
Worked hard for win when pressure was on, showing good team spirit.
Fra will be smarting and some talent and power on show. They could scupper Eng GS designs if they give it 100%.
