Anyone for a beer?
Seriously, who wants a beer?
I've just been given 23 dozen.

check the 'best before' date..
cardboard soaked in cat-pish, with a whiff of serj's trump is not the best way to drown your sorrows.
If fresh & reputable source, just send a dozen over.

As Galfon states, we need a good idea of the quality of the merchandise if you are still in Fiji. These holiday island types can have dubious standards when it comes to alcoholic beverages. One of my many memories from a glorious holiday in the Maldives was watching the bar staff mix red and white wine to satisfy my long suffering wife's request for a glass of rose.

It's from a highly regarded NZ brewery (where I know the owner and sales director). It is technically past the printed best before date (which is partly why I got it for free) but it's a malt-driven English style ESB and has been properly stored so is drinking just fine.

His sales strategies need a bit of honing, it would seem..

Re: Anyone for a beer?
You are not wrong. The beer in question is an excellent example of how a good product can be sunk by a poorly thought through marketing/branding strategy.
I suspect that this was a bit of a gimmick/vanity project that a marketing person would have advised against but probably wasn't asked.

I'll gladly take a couple of dozen expired beer, Liz, if you're genuinely giving them away. They'll go to a good home. Where's pickup?

With 23 dozen to play with, anything is negotiable.

I'd wager he has a case (or more) for The Couch of Happy Endings. An empty, guilty end to a day set to a lovely West Coast sunset.
