I see Small-Smith has kicked a couple for the cheetahs. Presumably Big-Smith takes the longer kicks...

I'll get my jacket.

Morgan has no interest in taking these box kicks.

A bit harsh as Edinburgh are massively improved on last season already but that was one of the stupidest things I have ever seen on a rugby pitch - Dean should be dropped for that alone.

Lloyd Williams is not popular amongst Wales fans.....but I've always rated him as a very tidy 9. No step, lightning and accurate delivery. And he's a thinker.

I reckon Clancy is actually scared of scrums. He doesn't understand them so he deliberately makes calls that divert from further scrums.

That's a shame, the pass from Morgan was forward but not spotted then there was no real.need for Dean to try and kick that.

Been an encouraging half I think.

Jamie Ritchie WTF? Positive play from Edinburgh but Ritchie was clean through with a back outside him 1 man baring down on them. Why did he give the pass before drawing the man? Lots to learn. That was a 7 pointer, easily.

Still in possession in the 22 though. And its a score!

On second viewing that's a wee bit harsh on Ritchie. I still think he could have done a LOT more to make his man commit to that tackle and free up the winger for a score though...

Decent play for the try though.

SHC off now. Not a great game by any stretch but it was a step in the right general direction.

Still baffled as to why Edinburgh keep giving Fowles contracts. Cardiff were under the cosh, no need to take risks like that.

Cardiff are using dummy runners to get ahead of the ball and block. Quite clever to be fair.

Ritchie has been huge in defence.

Who is our captain now? He should mention it to the referee.

Yup. Totally.

And in fairness to him,...Clancy managed the game well.
He can't do scrums and he blames the frontrow for his own failings. But he does make some decent games.

That's unlucky. Ball just wouldn't bounce for Harris.

Good win, decent performance with plenty to work on.
