Actually, I was jut a kid in short pants when this came out and always found it a bit creepy. Now that I'm a grown up it seems even creepier! I didn't recall him being quite so scrawny either.rowan wrote:RIP

If that creeped you out then don't watch the video to 'Don't come around here no more'.

Ok. Remember the song, not the video off hand, but I'll give it a miss on your recommendation.kk67 wrote:If that creeped you out then don't watch the video to 'Don't come around here no more'.
Anyway, just thought I'd play a tribute to the squawky-voiced, eye shadow-wearing, big-nosed, horse-toothed, scrawny one

It was so much easier to blame Them. It was bleakly depressing to think They were Us. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Not into Xmas songs but Otis Reddings' 'Dock of the Bay' was among the all-time classic hit singles. Didn't he die in a plane crash shortly afterward or something? Didn't even make it to the '27 club'
