I'm staying with it may or may not have been given as a pen, and it might be the case or not that Walsh made some mistakes, but England aren't in control of that, whereas had England been in control of what they could/should have been in control of the potential for the problem need never have arisen in the first place. I'd say it was amateur hour from England save the game went on a little longer.Mikey Brown wrote:I'm not going to pretend I actually remember what game it was, or even what year it was, but I'll bet everything I've got that I'm right and you're wrong and that Shane Williams was overrated.Billyfish wrote:It wasn't a ruck. Time for another spree of kicking people off the board I think. That’ll sort things.

Re: What happened here?
Much like I've little sympathy with England not getting a penalty for the work of Ken Owens in this instance I've no sympathy for Peter Stringer. In the event Stringer has either lost focus or is focused on the next thing to do and hasn't bothered to execute on the passage of play he's actually present in, schoolboy stuff, and not from a player you'd expect that of.SerjeantWildgoose wrote:Oh you vicious cunt! Quite. England were piss during that game and if Wales did get a bit of luck from the ref, that only balances out plenty of instances where a decision has gone the other way. The ref normally gives more leeway to the team on top.Digby wrote:I'm staying with it may or may not have been given as a pen, and it might be the case or not that Walsh made some mistakes, but England aren't in control of that, whereas had England been in control of what they could/should have been in control of the potential for the problem need never have arisen in the first place. Re: What happened here?
Over the course of the game I don't know England were that bad, or perhaps that Wales were that good that a score of 30-3 is all that accurate, for the most part (as with many Wales vs England games) it was two physical sides who couldn't pass their way out of wet paper bag. But certainly in that specific incident where Owens might have been pinged England had failed to control back to back breakdowns on their own ball and were shoveling the ball along with no actual plan in mind losing contact in the process courtesy of Robshaw and Hartley, at least I hope going one out and not being able to support the next phase wasn't the plan, maybe it was given the selections of Robshaw and HartleySandydragon wrote:Quite. Remember gavatars and all manner of hilarious childish shite. Accusations of cliques and shadowy cabals. Fucking brilliant.

Are there any current regular users who are not British, Irish or Kiwi?
If they're good enough to play at World Cups, why not in between?

Doesn't seem to be many now. The only thing that gets discussed on the non-Home Unions rugby threads are the All Blacks. Well, apart from my efforts, of courseTre wrote:there used to be loadsrowan wrote:Are there any current regular users who are not British, Irish or Kiwi?

Minnie was American, or lived there at least. Tigs was pretty active once, although no one knew what the f*ck he was on about most of the time. In fact we had a number of regular French posters who I haven't seen for a while.Stones of granite wrote:Cocorowan wrote:Are there any current regular users who are not British, Irish or Kiwi?

Re: What happened here?
Well, I know that there are at least 3 things we can all agree on
Wayne Barnes is the best in the business.
Rob Andrew is a rugby god, as player, coach and administrator.
The French can go f*** themselves, and it's their own fault for not speaking English (though they were robbed in 2011).
