Agree with this. France had a lot of success throwing to Woki at the front of the lineout vs Scotland, and won some penalties while they were at it. Wales were wise to this and pressurised the front ball. France threw longer in the second half.
It was my first six nations game for a couple of years, really disappointed that lots of the ‘spontaneous’ Welsh singing is piped through the tannoy system, and the crowd join in. Happened in both halves with ‘hymns and arias’. Can’t remember that happening before.
The warmups were interesting. Wales practiced some scrums and loads of lineouts. Then ran into people holding tackle bags. At the other end, half the French players wore different coloured bibs and then just booted the ball in the air to start of an enjoyable looking warm up of attack vs defence. Completely different mindset.
