I'd not have been against 2 reds, Hill deserved a yellow earlier for the slap to the face.

If we don't win this by a big margin now it will be a disgrace even if it won't be that honourable.

Yellow for idiocy
Reaction always be harsher punishment, but shouldn't be that harsh IMO

Agreed.Banquo wrote:both reds if going that route- cant allow head buttsRaggs wrote:Give them both yellows. Hills lucky not to have one by himself.
Not sure I'd call it a headbut, but as soon as an official says that, then it can only be a red.
Will also say that I missed most of the replays as wife needed me for work

Itoje swapped sides. Interesting in terms of debate a few days ago.

Safe to say Farrell chose the wrong option there.

He means Itoje moved from loosehead lock to tighthead, like I said, I've never seen Lawes play tighthead lock.Banquo wrote:only lock we had so obvous swapOakboy wrote:Itoje swapped sides. Interesting in terms of debate a few days ago.

That's harsh on Curry in my mind. The Aussie was in squeezeball position basically lying on the ball, Curry doesn't have to be on the ball in that situation, the fact he got the ball anyway should just be proof he was good at first.

He believed he'd already fairly won the ball, not an unreasonable belief in my mind, especially without the ref giving any warning/info etc.Stom wrote:He was lying on the floor. i understood that part- forgot lawes was on tbf- andItoje has more of a tighthead lock buildRaggs wrote:He means Itoje moved from loosehead lock to tighthead, like I said, I've never seen Lawes play tighthead lock.Banquo wrote:only lock we had so obvous swapOakboy wrote:Itoje swapped sides. Re: Australia vs England - First Test
@Banquo agreed. The big pause from the injury to Banks took all the energy out of the game. Until that point England were clearly on top and playing pretty well. Second quarter was scrappy and crap from both sides.

Yep. Great first 20mins but error strewn ever since.Banquo wrote:we looked ok for a while.

As you say, with the red and second choice 3, 10 & 15 you’d hope for a strong second half.

Lawes isn’t a lock anymore. Especially at scrum time given the weight he’s lost.Banquo wrote:id missed lawes tbf, but see above re itojeOakboy wrote:Lawes not a lock?Banquo wrote: only lock we had so obvous swap

Ah. Missed the build up to that. Only saw the headbutt which looked incredibly dumb, but does sound like Hill was asking for it.Raggs wrote:Someone needs to get Hill off the pitch, he's completely lost his head with that Aussie lock with the hair. He's slapped in the face, now grabbed his hair/ear and yanked his head back in the maul.
I guess job done. Cynical as it is.

Still liking the look of our attack to be honest, it's flowing well, even with the errors, they're adjusting to the system/players errors in my mind, the system itself seems very effective.
