The inconsistency of decisions is farcical. World Rugby are a joke!
If that had of been a player from Fiji, Samoa, Tonga or several other nations I'm pretty sure a ban would have ensued.

Was thinking this, with the citing such a total lottery it cant be long until a player/club takes the 6N/pro12/WR to the courts with evidence that x, y, and z were not punished but theirs was and therefore it could be seen as anti.... descrimination
WR really is still just a bunch of blazzers trying to hide their shortcommings from the world

This and only for the
post match interview when they lose
Harsh. That interview was held minutes after he knew his team had been kicked out of the world cup, despite leading for most of the game - and deservedly so. He was right to be upset, and at least he didn't cry like Gavin Hastings did.

That would be much harder than you might think.

I think it was dangerous enough to get a card to be honest. Though your phrase "lashing out" makes it sound malicious rather than a (reckless) attempt to free the ball.

How much harder?

Part of me thinks CM deserved it. He was holding the ball next to his face on purpoise.
No, he didn't deserve it. Nobody deserves a boot that close to the eye. Reckless play by Brown, who had several bites at the cherry.
Have you ever been kicked in the head when playing rugby? I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

I am pretty sure he has been kicked in the head when playing rugby.
(No, it wasn't me KK).

Pretty much impossible.

Agreed (although the intial post was tongue in cheek I think). But whilst I don't think Brown was deliberately trying to stamp on Murray's head or blind him, many other players have been cited for reckless acts that seemed a lot less dangerous. Ive been booted on my head countless times playing rugby, its not much fun and frankly if we are serious about reducing the risks from concussion then Brown's actions should have been seen in a far harsher light.
I'm very disappointed that he escaped a citing, but not completely surprised. I only hope that if he does something equally stupid next weekend he gets a card.
