Ibitoye is probably the form English winger. He does have a lot of competition for a place but his play right now is at a very high level. Borthwick kind of player? Maybe not.

I do love to watch Ibitoye run, and we played in to his hands yesterday with our loose passing out wide, but I’d like to know the success rate of his offloads. I feel like our ball retention with him and Lawrence in the backline would be infuriating.

75% of the time you need a functioning midfield to get the ball to the wings, or the 10 is relying on hail Mary passes (which can work if the centres are actually running good lines). Our attack is shunt.
