ABs would have scored that the day before yesterday. Pass pass try. Job done.

Wales you're fucking hopeless.

Worst game I've ever seen. 80 minuets of shite then a complete farce. France cheating a HIA, Wales being shit, Barnsey not having the balls to give a penalty try.

Fucking shocking end to a dire game. A very doubtful sub by the French followed by some penalties that were also dubious. Barnes lost the plot there, as did the 4th official it seems.

Nonetheless wales cannot rely on defence alone to win a match. France did try to play some rugby at times and on balance they probably deserved the game that it more. A win would have masked our failures this season so frankly it seems just.

That might be the only time I've ever been relieved to see a try against Wales. What a mess.

A nil-nil draw would hv been a fair result. France tried to play some rugby but couldnt, Wales much less ambitious & jst as bad. Cant remember us doing much in the second half at all apart from kicking & tackling. As most thought, the win against Ireland papered over huge, gaping chasms.

Credit to the players for commitment but terms of skills & ambition the situation is pretty dire. Got what we deserved in the end really

The end is frustrating because now we've got all manner of reasonable excuses, when in reality we didn't deserve to win. However bad we were, when you're ahead in the 99th minute you've won the bloody match. What an utter farce.

Unfortunately the resting farce gives Howley wriggle room. Another dire performance from wales as a team, some individuals stood out, but we just seemed to want to play 2012 tactics again.

WTF! Terrible ending to the game, hope Barnes gets a review over that. France winning was about fair in the end but ... what a booollloolack of a 6n game

Ignore Howlers usual bullshit but if what hes saying about the managment talking to the doc then the doc going on is correct France should be hammered for this.

Fully expect it to get brushed under the rug though

Just a thought re the Uini situation. They took him off for a HIA at 82 mins, cameras showed him walking down the tunnel alone. They have 10 minuets to conduct the HIA then return him to the field if ok. So since he went off alone, was the HIA conducted? What was the result? If negative then shouldn't he have returned before the 92nd (92nd FFS!) minuet, what does the rules say about an un-injured player replacing another un-injured player that replaced him earlier in the game? Surely that can't be ok this isnt the NFL.

Whilst it will look very much like sour grapes, wales should raise this issue. Having spent years fighting to recognise the importance of treating concussion properly, for a management team to take the piss so blatantly is disgraceful. Is there much difference between that and the Dean Richards bloodgate? Excepting this might be harder to prove.

Pathetic coaching. The only thing we did differently for the Ireland game, playing a bit flatter, we didn't have the guts to try against the French. So we reverted to 100% Gatball, defended like maniacs, kicked all our goals (brilliantly, it must be said), and hoped to fluke a try to edge the match. The fluke didn't happen (sometimes it does: England, world cup and 2012 6N, sometimes the opposite happens: England 2017), so we lost. A season wasted.

This will continue until we clear out the current coaching staff, I wouldn't keep a single one of them.

Not complaining about the result (Barnes should have given the French a penalty try within the first 10 minutes of extra time), but I totally agree, exactly like Bloodgate.

I dunno, I think I'd keep Jenkins and Edwards. The rest can go.

The only dubious thing about the penalties was that they weren't accompanied by a penalty try and a yellow card.

Regarding the bite allegation, as per usual the French tv didn't give any supporting evidence, this needs to be looked at, one camera angle in the modern game is highly unlikely and this happens in all there home games, the tv director replays every possible infringement against France and none of the ones commited by the home team.

I can't see why he would bite himself as the French seem to be insinuating.

Suggesting that he bit himself is just plain stupid. Without accusing the broadcaster of withholding evidence, I do find it odd that in an international game there was only one camera angle available for that part of the field.

If the bite mark could be seen, which evidently it could, a photo should have been taken. It wouldn't have been too CSI to compare against the potential offenders gnashers in the ruck.

With regards to the HIA incident, I'm not that offay with the procedure but surely it doesn't let the player waltz off the pitch and down the tunnel unescorted (thanks for that picture Mr Frenchie Director). Putting cynicism aside, surely they have a duty of care for his welfare.
