France v Wales predictions
I think we will win this one, not by much by maybe 5-10 points.

Think it'll be a bit closer, Wales by 3.

Arrogant welsh…
I think if Wales play like they did against Ireland, they'll win by 5

I think if we can contain Picamoles (easier said than done) with some double up tackling we should have enough, that and maintaining our clearout speed from the last match.Renniks wrote:Arrogant welsh…![]()

Agree, interested to see how the set piece goes too! I imagine Wales will want very few of themNumbers wrote:I think if we can contain Picamoles (easier said than done) with some double up tackling we should have enough, that and maintaining our clearout speed from the last match.Renniks wrote:Arrogant welsh…![]()

We could certainly do with keeping the scrums to a minimum.Renniks wrote:Agree, interested to see how the set piece goes too! Oh hell yes. I don't fancy the result of a forward dominated match.Numbers wrote:We could certainly do with keeping the scrums to a minimum.Renniks wrote:Agree, interested to see how the set piece goes too! I imagine Wales will want very few of themNumbers wrote:

Re: France v Wales predictions
I have absolutely no idea. I can see us winning with a bit to spare. I can also see us getting royally stuffed.
I think the popular line that "Stop Picamoles = Stop France" is probably reasonably sound, but I don't fancy an arm-wrestle with that pack and I don't think we have the strike power to take it away from them.
I'd just like it if both sides chucked it about a bit and tried to give us a spectacle. I don't really see that either side has much to gain from a 16-12 win. But that's probably what one will get, and the loser will be on the back foot all summer long.

We'll destroy the frogs in a high scoring game, North to have another stormer, I like the way France play these days, I foresee a great match.

Picamoles and Fickou are the ones you have to watch. Both of them can link effectively. Picamoles will range wide to do this. The rest of the French team are big but not particularly dynamic with the ball. They have a donkey at fullback that surely one of the Welsh backs can step around pretty easily. Biggar is just the wrong player to have at pivot for this, but I really hope everything isn't kicked/chipped away. Tell your hooker not to faff around at the scrum either. Hook the fucker and get it clear.

When did North have a stormer? Vs Ireland?
I vote you try and slug it out.
3-3 please.

Re: France v Wales predictions
Think this big French pack may cause us some real problems, can see us being a man down more than once in the game!!
Our defence will have it's work cut out, Not sure we have the game to move their forwards about enough for our backs to look for the mismatch.
Obviously I would love a Welsh win, but I think that France will be a little to strong for us in Paris. Though I expected to lose against Ireland so what the hell do I know
France 28 - 20 Wales

Re: France v Wales predictions
It will be an exciting match full of running and the Welsh pack will be battered like a haddock at the local chippie on a Friday night.
I really think this could be the most exiting match today as Wales know they can not grind this French team down. Wales have to attack the French back line as they can score tries particularly with Dilan at full back and with Serine at nine they have their own Rhys Webb.
We all know Picomoles is the key to their go forward and Warburton and Moriarty will have their hands full but the match up of the two sevens with Tipuric and Gourdon being similar players...fast, good ball handlers and creative.
I honestly don't have a clue to the outcome I want Wales to win handsomely. ..but this could be a 5 pointer either way.

Re: France v Wales predictions
I'm really unsure about this game. Both sides have had moments of playing well, and playing poorly.
The juggernaut French pack can cause and one problems, if you let them. If our pack can weather the storm and create quick ball then we can hopefully score tries. I'm hoping some of our key players raise their game for the lions selectors.
I feel we might lose this, but I think a score either way is a likely outcome.

I know scrum halfs are annoying little scrotes but the French winger really shouldn't have flattened his own man

Wales.....you have an extra man at the back, an overlap out left, and you go blind one out.
