Re: Team For Saes.
English player carried that into touch before he played it and it’s carry on.
And most reds would have given a penalty try and a yellow for a mail heading that fast to the try line and brought down.

This is getting fucking ridiculous.
England are being really clinical but seriously everything is going their way.

Shite! We’re being taken apart by England. Anscombe’s playing a blinder for England. Faletau looks so so off the pace. Tomas Williams is slow with awful box kicks. The only bright spot in Blair but he’s suffering because of his small size.

Re: Team For Saes.
Why is there always an English player calling over the ruck when we have the ball.
Nothing more than a penalty for taking out our player at the lineout
No yellow and penalty try for the collapsed maul near the try line
Itoje taking out a defender who wasn’t part of the ruck before the last try

England deserve to be in the lead but Christ almighty that are being given the game on a plate.
And our defence is basically non existent.

Can we keep this below 50? It’s not looking good. We look like we’ve lost all heart and any idea of how to play the game.

Every time England got into our 22 we’ve conceded. Defensively we are all at sea.

Re: Team For Saes.
Well the second half was just awful. English defence was well organised and played the ref well. We couldn’t adapt and butchered what chances we did have.
These are professional rugby players so o don’t buy this power or men bs boys argument. It’s an organisational problem. Our linespeed was poor and we failed to take the sting out of the English. We made so many mistakes.
It was a bit like we had shot our bolt by the 60 th minute when we just couldn’t score and head really dropped. Maybe fitness an issue as well as the other problems we have.
But fuck me we made England look like world champions today. Yes the better team won but we just imploded

Weird. The stats just don't explain it. Only metres run shows England with an advantage.
They just scored at will. From beginning to end, each half had almost the same scoreline, we just didn't have a clue about stopping them. Lake didn't change anything, none of the subs did. It was just a woeful, embarrassing performance.

Murray put in a shift. Ben Thomas, Jenkins and Morgan worked hard too. That's about it I think.

That's the worst I've ever seen from Wales.And I'm 59. Iv'e seen some shit.
Bizarre scores aside (two from headers?!) every player we had was a tier below England and as a unit we were two tiers below. What makes it all the more galling is the Sir Clive was 100% correct with his prediction.
Thank God we don't have to play Romania for our place in next year's 6Ns.

I thought at least Murray was better than Smith. But god that was bad, made worse by watching with a room full of English in laws.

I watched it in the stadium with 3 English friends, and I very nearly left at half time. By full time, I regretted I hadnt.
It was a long drive back to Portsmouth

Re: Team For Saes.
I had the misfortune to be present for the 2007 thrashing we got in the world cup warm-up game at Twickers. But I brushed that off easily since it was our third-choice team. This was our best. In Cardiff too. Glad I wasn't there for it this time. How long will people pay to see this sub-90s dross?pompey-zebra wrote: ↑Sun Mar 16, 2025 12:31 amI watched it in the stadium with 3 English friends, and I very nearly left at half time. How long will people pay you watch it? Well from where I was , plenty of supporters of other nations will be there, for a great time day out in Cardiff and a guaranteed win. Whether many Welsh supporters will, I doubt and whether the WRU cares about that, I doubt too. As long as the seats are filled and the bars are busy will they care who fills them?
Waking up to the memories of conceding try after try, Swing Low reverberating around our national stadium. Wales supporters leaving in droves, no element of competition left in the game with an hour or so left- humiliating is the word that keeps coming back n my mind. And you mention the 90's. Bad enough that happened once. To allow it again when the warning signs were there is unforgivable.
Sorry for the early sunday morning rant, but yesterday was utterly grim from where I was sat .
