Edinburgh by 4, I think the Weeg guys will be making sure that they are fit come the next round of Europe and anyway at Scotstoun in the dry they can easily beat Edinburgh by 10 + if they are full strength

Observations so far...

This ref is rank rotten. Absolutely abysmal. He's not really favouring any one side but he is certainly ruining the game for me. Two things he got wrong - Burleigh's attempt on Bennet's neck should always go to the TMO for confirmation. Allan's card wasn't a card, he was lying to the side of the ruck impeding the square root of nothing.

Dicko is quite clearly injured and should have been hooked far earlier than that. Hoping Hodge hasn't caused more damage by leaving him on the pitch about 15 mins too early.

Some good performances from Scots on both sides so far but it's all a bit scrappy. First try is a brutal lesson for Kinghorn but he'll learn.

And a more general observation .... Has JG ever built a rapport with a ref? Well on his way to becoming a world class lock but am I wrong in saying he appears to be an introvert? They don't typically make very good captains and I think it shows as Glasgow have failed to play the ref so many times since Kellock retired.

That was one of the most selfless things I have seen on a rugby pitch. Sean Lamont is almost certainly able to get over the line and score the try but chooses to pop to Dunbar in the corner for the sure thing instead.

I always find it hard to judge these scrappy derby games, form tends to go out of the window. A lot of kicking but he score looks about right I guess.

Dean runs some good lines doesn't he? He was the Ed 13 right?

I have the same feeling on Gray as captain too. As nice as it would be to have a nailed on starter as captain.

Glad to finally break that duck. They're never the best games but it was great to see Glasgow gub them in the maul, they'd have been more even at the scrum if Davies had stood on the embra LH side more often though no doubting they still had the overall edge.

Glimpses of Naka in him today. One superb offload for the try and he looked to attempt another 2-3 before choosing to recycle the ball in the ruck instead. His best performance yet.

I know it's the holiday period and all but I'm surprised at how little chat there is about this one... Never seen a derby thread this quiet...

Slightly ruined by the still inexplicable decision to shift the second leg to end of season in favour of some nonsense supposed rivalry with the Italian teams. With a five day turnaround including travel.

Two must win games tomorrow. Embra need to find a win or I suspect Hodge's coat falls off that shoogly peg. Weeg still have very little room for manoeuvre if they want to get a sniff of the playoffs.

I've found Pro12 are pretty good at taking feedback into consideration. They do send out surveys & have focus groups which is promising. We just need enough Scots to flag it up with them as the Welsh & Irish are largely unaffected by this change.

I'm hoping he is fine but he was left on the pitch 10 mins too long the other day. I thought that was pretty poor management.

I'd love to know who from our camp signed off on that, stand up in front of the 25 thousand or so people that usually make these games and hear them talk to us about this "Scottish/Italian rugby rivalry" they were shitting on about... and how it matters...
