Looks like he could be out for a spell. Real shame that as he has had some good performances in recent weeks.

Damn that is real bad luck ... he was just starting to kick on in his new club. That will give the Scarlets a headache ... it is one position where there is not a great depth .
Maybe the Ospreys can spare one ...

Yeah, I'd rather Sam play fly half for the Scarlets than full back for the O's. Big time.ALunpg wrote:Damn that is real bad luck ... he was just starting to kick on in his new club. That will give the Scarlets a headache ... it is one position where there is not a great depth .

Both Dan and Sam need game time at 10, I cant see this sharing the shirt routine lasting for too much longer. Competition is great but we have such limited resources it cant last for too ling at the regional level. IN addition, the Ospreys will be increasingly miffed if both fly halves are absent during international periods.Son of Mathonwy wrote:Yeah, I'd rather Sam play fly half for the Scarlets than full back for the O's. Unfortunately they're both signed up to the O's for the foreseeable (I think till 2019 for Biggar, probably longer for Davies - he only signed 2 months back).Sandydragon wrote:Both Dan and Sam need game time at 10, I cant see this sharing the shirt routine lasting for too much longer. The Ospreys should really switch them sometimes, put Biggar at 15, Sam at 10.
I think Biggar can do a decent job at 15 personally, and Davies at 15 is simply arresting his development.
I have a horrible feeling that however good Davies is at fly half, Biggar's perceived(?) inflexibility will mean that if Dan starts it will always be at 10.
