Weird missing person story

Post by WaspInWales »

Stumbled across this tonight on the Beeb. Haven't come across it before so it's new to me, but fuck is it weird?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-g ... t-41542875

So, a woman with learning difficulties disappeared in 1999 at the age of 19. There has been no independent sighting of the woman in all that time and no one in her local area has managed to catch a glimpse of her, but her carers have said that they have had contact with her and that the missing woman is now a 'gangmaster', recruiting cheap agricultural labour in London, the SE and Poland.

The carers claimed the woman slipped out of the house as the police came to call as she had a persecution complex and had fears of the authority.

Mr Cairney said: "I turned around to get Margaret and she was gone, out of the door.

"There was police at the back, police at the front, she could not get out of that door without being seen.

"I don't know which way she went. She must have just walked right through them."

The following quote does not bode well for Ms Fleming imo;

"She has come to no harm unless she has got harmed in the past couple of weeks."

A demolition order has been served on the house she shared with her carers.

Just bizarre.

Very weird. Maybe I’m being overly cynical, but did the missing persons report coincide with an on-site visit to review the benefits being paid? How does someone live for so long without being seen?

Very odd.

Just re read that and obviously the Scottish police aren’t happy with the carers story. Way to many holes in it to make sense, particularly that a woman with no social skills is no a gang master in London.

Noting that the garden has be n searched, but I think that house is in a fairly rural area so plenty of opportunities to hide a body.

Inverkip. Not only a rural area, but overlooking the Firth of Clyde - a fairly extensive body of water.
