Sale v Wasps Fri 7.45
Intriguing game. Sale generally very good at home and in decent form. Big test for Wasps.
Personnel wise its good to see both Curry's, Willis starting and Taylor on the bench.
Sale: Haley; Solomona, James, O'Connor, Yarde; MacGinty, De Klerk; Harrison, Webber, John, Evans, Ostrikov, Ross (capt), Curry, Strauss.
Replacements: Jones, Flynn, Tarus, Beaumont, Curry, Cliff, James, McGuigan.
Wasps: Le Roux; Wade, Daly, Gopperth, Bassett; Cipriani, Robson; Mullan, Cruse, Cooper-Woolley, Launchbury (capt), Myall, Willis, Young, Thompson.
Replacements: Taylor, McIntyre, Moore, Rowlands, Haskell, Simpson, De Jongh, Armitage.

Wasps have really got to win this, blowing the game against Tigers could derail the whole season (which has only really been back on the tracks this side of Xmas anyway)

Interesting to see O'Connor at 12.
15 - 6 Sale are top 6 candidates, 5 - 2 they’re relegation candidates.

Looking very much like a mid table side who've had a good couple of months vs genuine contenders.

That is a beautifully weighted kick.

What a game. Webber is on top form.

Knew we were in troublewhen we went ahead too easily.

It's easy to forget that 5 years ago he was a genuine contender for the England shirt.Oakboy wrote:What a game. Webber is on top form.

Absolutely. We’ e Gone to sleep a bit just as Sale have woken up, and JP isn’t helping one little bitRaggs wrote:Knew we were in troublewhen we went ahead too easily.

We've done that so often. I'm hoping that sale will have kicked us up the arse enough to get back into it now.

Wasps don't normally respond well when the momentum swings against them. Especially away from home. Decidedly worried

About as sloppy as it can get from Wasps straight out of the gate.

Pretty cynically killing the break there, probably should be a yellow.

Some of the defending has been god awful by both sides.
But surely that's held?

Re: Sale v Wasps Fri 7.45
If you're down by contact you should have to release the ball. Although if JP won't ping particularly Webber coming in at the side with no arms then it evens out
