Bonkers brilliance

Post by Donny osmond »

Getting a dissident journo to make headline news as being murdered only to have him walk into a press conference next day telling the world it was a sting to catch the people who were actually trying to kill him.

This episode just completely sums up how frickin pumped the whole world is right now.

It was so much easier to blame Them. It was bleakly depressing to think They were Us. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Bizarre indeed!

Skripals have also made a remarkable recovery from their alleged poisoning with the deadly nerve agent Novichok. Amazingly resilient people, these Russians. Curiously the media paid little attention to their release from hospital, presumably because it coincided with a royal wedding

We await the next ridiculous anti-Putin/Russia charade as the 2018 World Cup draws ever closer....
If they're good enough to play at World Cups, why not in between?

You don’t think he’s going to let facts get in the way of his narrative, do you? That would be a first.

It's 100% true. But you have no idea what facts are. Your view of the world has been shaped, warped and mangled by the propaganda of one of the most evil societies on earth.

This episode just completely sums up how frickin pumped the whole world is right now.
It especially sums up how diabolical, manipulative and completely irresponsible the media has become on international politics. I mean, propaganda has always been around, of course, but there used to be at least some semblance of respectability. You didn't just print obvious hogwash in your headlines if it fit the desired agenda. But now the entire mainstream news industry has just gone to pot as it is forced to compete with all the other channels of information available via electronic media.

100% true?
So, the interview with Yulia Skripal that was reported and played on every single media outlet that I am aware of, was the media paying little attention to their release?
You use the word "alleged" to describe their poisoning with novichok. A fact that has been proven beyond doubt by an independent international organisation which is funded by, amongst others, Russia.

Which is why they're alive and perfectly well. No, you're not gullible, are you. You just believe everything you read in the British press.

Look. The fact that the Skirpals have recovered and are out of hospital is all over the news - print and television. There was a piece on Tuesday’s Newsnight reporting that very fact.

To use you’re own ‘logic’, as you are not living in the country in question there is no way you could possibly know.

They're alive. What is your evidence that they are "perfectly well"? George Galloway?

No response on your statement that the "media are paying little attention to their release"?
Thought not. You're lying again.

Wow, this is clever stuff.

One says: "The fact that the Skirpals have recovered and are out of hospital is all over the news"

The other says: They're alive. What is your evidence that they are "perfectly well"?

So they contradict each other, then one says "You're lying again." :o (really profound) :o

& the other adds: "as you are not living in the country in question there is no way you could possibly know."

What a kindergarten!

Some excerpts from Yulia Skripal's statement made on the 23rd May that was "widely ignored by the media"*.

I was discharged from hospital on the 9th of April and continue to progress with treatment but my life has been turned upside down as I tro to come to terms with the devastating changes thrust upon me both physically and emotionally.

Sure, but according to Dr. Rowan, she's just fine.

Are you really as stupid as you are making yourself look? Do you not understand that being released from hospital is a far cry from being "perfectly well"?
According to Yulia Skripal, she is still undergoing treatment while you are trying to insinuate that the fact the she has been released from hospital casts doubt that she was ever attacked at all. This is dissembling.
