I would disagree. Shapiro isn't used to having to answer actual taxing questions. He isn't a smart man. He can't defend his copy and paste "opinions" from his book. He just bullies first year university students by talking over them. His whole shtick disintegrates under actual legitimate questioning. He is just all hot air like most of the alt right.

He lost all credibility in this interview because he reacted emotionally to being humiliated intellectually which is what he constantly claims he does with "sjw's". All his catch phrases "facts don't care about your feelings", "triggered" etc now apply to him.

He and his ilk are very good at the gish gallop, which can often overwhelm or exasperate the poeple he's debating against, because FUUUUUUCK having to deal with that bullshit.

People need to really take notes from the Zizek v. Beef Bitch debate or Andrew Neil going to town on Smol Ben - they pretty much wait for these blathering fucks to stop blathering, and then take them to task over their statements, like Zizek demanding Peterson identify one of the Marxists he's constantly crying about, or Neil pretty much calling that little hobgoblin a whiny little shit who doesn't know what he's talking about. And really, the best way to deal with it is to go "thank you for demonstrating you know shit about fuck, now explain concisely why you think Arabs enjoy living in sewage or women should be executed for having an abortion" etc.

As a professional question asker, that's a brilliant interview. He did exactly the reverse of the thing that Shapiro accused him of in that he didn't just shout slogans at himand say "What's your answer". He put questions fairly and listened to answers and built on the answers (on the rare occasions they came) to bring clarity to the interviewee's position. Where no answer came he highlighted that there had been no answer and then moved on. When he was attacked he calmly and without anger deflected it. I really don't understand what you can be looking for in an interview if you think this was appalling. And I say that whilst agreeing that yes, by and large, Andrew Neil is a right cwnt. But he's a good interviewer who'll give you plenty of opportunity to answer but not necessarily give you the questions you want.

Smol Ben is there to provide a respectable (relatively speaking) face to fash scum, and he has absolutely been prominent in that scene. And unlike, say, Baked Alaska, he's a true believer, rather than one of the grifters that latch on to that scene like a parasite.
