UK Government celebrating Pride by insisting that it's okay to deport a gay man to Kenya because, despite it being illegal to be gay there and there being a history of the police abusing, beating, blackmailing, and raping gay people, there is "there is nothing to show that you would be persecuted by the state as a result of your sexual orientation."

There have apparently been "some occasions where the police have protected LGBT persons against mob attack," so that's fine then.
