No surprise. I've had better food on ops than in most messes in the UK. Since the introduction of save as you starve, even better units have gone downhill. I took plenty of cases forward, but got nowhere as the contract monitoring team regarded it as being all too difficult.

Unsurprisingly, if you go to any of the messes at front line commands and the food is very good. It's also equally decent when a starred officer visits your unit. It's a disgrace.
