So, he served in the British Army for decades and had indefinite leave to remain because of that, but after being honourably discharged from the army that right is automatically revoked and he has to jump through the hoops same as anyone else applying for permanent right to reside? And a multitude of Fijian soldiers are saying that no-one told them about this; it was just implied that they would be able to stay without problem?
This government. Smdh. He'll probably be okay because he's got famous sons, but I wonder how many Fijian servicemen (who were deliberately recruited by the army, presumably cause they are happier with the wage than the average Brit) will be given short shrift by the hostile environment.
