LaRochelle v Exeter Sun 3pm

Post by fivepointer »

La Rochelle: Dulin; Leyds, Seuteni, Favre, Rhule; Hastoy, Kerr-Barlow; Wardi, Bourgarit, Atonio, Sazy, Skelton, Dillane, Botia, Alldritt (c).

Replacements: Lespiaucq, Sclavi, Colombe Reazel, Lavault, Boudehent, Bourdeau, Berjon, Thomas.

Exeter: Wyatt; Nowell (c), Slade, O'Brien, Woodburn; J Simmonds, Becconsall; Sio, Frost, Street, Kirsten, Gray, Vermeulen, Tshiunza, S Simmonds.

Replacements: Yeandle, Abuladze, Iosefa-Scott, Davis, Ewers, Townsend, Skinner, Hogg

Can Exeter front up in the manner Gloucester managed? They'll have to, to have any chance of causing an upset.

No Danty is a huge loss for La Rochelle. No Tanga and no Hatherall in the backrow as well.

La Roch looking good. They seem equally comfortable with the power game or running it.

LR far too good. Exe did well to narrow the score with a couple of late tries but they were outgunned. They've got quite a rebuild on and it needs to start upfront where their set piece, which has been poor all season, needs a big improvement.
LR have the all round game to really trouble Leinster in the final.
