Big step up today. Reffing my first u11s after doing u10s last year.

3/4 field, as opposed to playing across field, will test my fitness.

Lineouts now contested (no lifting) and kicking in general play allowed.

Big question though is what kit to wear.

Obviously I’ll be wearing ancient, paint-flecked short shorts.

Be careful the boys don't pop out of the barracks if you are wearing those. That sort of thing is frowned upon everywhere with the exception of the Catholic Church Junior Social League.
