I have a bad feeling about this one... And not just the £89 Bath wanted for the cheapest* seat in the house!

*That I could find.

Should be highly entertaining.

Bristol will score tries; its just a matter of how many they concede.

Good chance for prospective England 9s to stake a claim.

Good to see Will Butt keep his place in the side even though Redpath is back fit. Touch harsh on Bailey to drop put the squad.

It is, but then it's also sensible, he doesn't really provide cover for any position that isn't covered on the field.
Harris and cover 10 if needed, and TDG can cover FB, Redpath's better at 12 or 13, and if a wing goes down, then just as screwed with Bailey on the bench as with Redpath.

At this stage of the season, with a short injury list, there's plenty of players deserving some game time, but not getting it.
Sela didn't deserve to be dropped for Du Toit, Du Plessis hasn't been seen for a 2nd week, where do we start with backrow absentees? etc

Not seeing any separation there, control isn't relevant

Surely this time!

Surely, with Ibitoye's chase, they're all onside, despite Nick Mulins

I didn't see the separation, but technically does it need to be, as it's a knock on when it goes forward and touches an opposition player?

I would like to take a moment to note that ridiculous turnover from Guy Pepper that set up the non-try though. Just incredible technique and something which few other players in the league could do.

Nice try by Bailey but Ibitoye and Randall with some comedy tackling there.

So that's where the control issue comes in? Losing control forwards, despite not losing contact? Even then, as the loss of control from the foot, it feels more like a rip than a knock on, but that's absolutely a feeling, and possibly a bias
TY

And yes, brilliant rip with Brizzle player all over him and his arms

And that's why we don't want back-3 players getting involved in mauls.

I'll be honest, I do t see him entering the maul at all there - may easily have been off-camera

Yep quality player.

e- Just thinking, wasn't it his line out throwing that used be an issue? Has he improved that?

When were you allowed to have your forearms flat on the ground beyond the ball, and still be awarded the steal?

Bath really needing a talking to at HT, and some reinforcements from the bench.

We could do with Brizzle feeling a little complacent and switching off as well - which I don't see happening.

Right arm or right knee?
Or is my beer and bias talking?

Though if it means the yellow gets shown, I'll take the disallow

Bristol good value for the win. Did enough with the ball and defended stoically when required, though Bath did well to get the try BP.

Ogrhe was very good. Perhaps smarting from the England squad omission? Randall won the SH battle.

Certainly agree on Oghre!!!

Was Underhill's yellow-earning offence the stupidest ever? As Flats said, 'Not exactly subtle!'

I think Flats and BOD are my favourite co-commentator combination. They contributed to the entertainment well (in total contrast to that dreadful Lucy woman on the football that preceded this).
