A winger as captain? We’re a complete joke.
Rigg/Slade centre combo. We’ll be lucky to keep it under 50.
Completely forgot we’d signed Wyn Jones. I’m guessing he’s nowhere near the force he was.

Chiefs with an actual midfield and Skinner is dropped for the second time this season. Chiefs looking stronger than in some previous weeks, Quins obviously missing a few with England. This could be a good Sunday afternoon watch.

Is this supposed to be an ironic post?Mikey Brown wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 3:07 pm A winger as captain? We’re a complete joke.

Firstly, if a winger happens to be your most influential player from a leadership POV, I don’t think it matters where they play. Lewies will act as the pack leader.
As far as fearing a Rigg/Slade combo, I’m not sure a player with very limited Premiership experience and a guy who hasn’t played in months are the threats I’d be most concerned about.

Hallelujah!! Exeter change their HB's. Beconsall looked very good last year and WHW is surely due a run of games to see what he can bring to the team. Rigg at centre should be interesting. They get 2 England squad players back, Quins 0.
I'm taking Exeter to break their duck.

I'm going to go out on a limb and predict a home loss.

Ah. Green back to his old self, but Beard had to be more aware there.

Imagine if Will Evans was English qualified.

Feels like we could have put this out of sight by now. Massive turnaround there for Rigg to score.

Care's passing still hilariously bad.

Re: Exeter vs Harlequins - Sunday
Well that was comically bad for large portions of the game, but a bonus point win away at Exeter will do, given how many games we’ve let slip away so far this season.

I've heard he's going to change his last name to Curry as it's a guarantee to get picked.

Exeter are really in a bit of a mess. Nothing about their game looks in good enough order. Some of their defending was abject. Quins werent great but won at a canter.

They're not. They are basically the same team that played pretty well last season. They really have gone off the boil in a big way.Banquo wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2024 4:44 pmits odd, because not a poor team on paperfivepointer wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2024 3:32 pm Exeter are really in a bit of a mess. They’ve basically just swapped with Bath.

Re: Exeter vs Harlequins - Sunday
He must have got excited when he saw Jarrod Evans kick the ball backwards, but alas.
It was an uncomfortably close game until quite late on, to be fair.
