Dai Flanagan out.

I did not see this coming. For what it is worth, I think he did a good job at Dragons.

They recruited well in the Summer, though they are still struggling in the front row. Only the board will now, but recruiting someone of the calibre of Tiatia to be an assistant at the Dragons would have put pressure on Flanagan.

Would expect Tiatia to get the head coach job now, and bring in one or two of his own assistants.

I liked Flanagan, especially his enthusiasm for Gwent, and his genuine positivity. I hope he gets another role soon.

Fair play, it’s not a surprise and the results have been poor. Hopefully we can recruit some decent coaching staff moving forward, and some props

The results are poor no matter the coach. Hope Tiatia (or whoever) can prove me wrong but it does look like an impossible job.

Losing has become a habit. They have decent enough players to get some results and the near misses have been annoying this season. Like all the Welsh regions there is no depth so that would make even the most experienced coach’s lot difficult

Dai F did a reasonable job stepping in last minute after the Dean Ryan fiasco. Close losses will not cut it in a professional team and eventually changes are needed.
