Wow- that’s a hell of a blow, poor fella has to retire after that bad knock v Tigers. All the best to him.

Sounds terrible - not much said about the incident just after kick-off. Just shows how relevant the head injury focus is atm...

Life changing damage to his right arm apparently. Sounds awful.

I feel very sorry for the guy losing his livelihood in this way. I've never heard of an arm injury curtailing a career before.

I’m hoping it’s not as bad as that. The nerve damage is obviously serious enough to end his career and be life-changing, but I really, really hope it’s not as serious as him completely losing use of his arm.

Top sports people do often make stronger than expected come backs from these sort of things. Mental toughness, adherence and commitment to re-hab etc.
